SCE’s 2018 Supplier Recognition Award

AIS was recently awarded the prestigious Southern California Edison Platinum Award. The award is given to SCE’s most outstanding safety performer for the year. AIS has provided environmental support for various SCE operating units for over 10 years. During this tenure, AIS has been lauded for the company’s dedication to Safety and its well established behavior- based safety observation program that emphasizes the pillars required for a successful and sustainable safety program. In 2017, AIS safely performed over 62,000 hours of incident free work for SCE, maintained exceptional DART and EMR ratings, as well as an “A” grade through ISNetworld.

AIS’s Safety Program also includes a short service employee program, mandatory company-wide safety stand downs that review near misses or safety observations, monthly internal and external safety tool box email shares, as well as stop work authority for all AIS employees on all projects.
