NRG Energy, Inc., names American Integrated Services Diversity Supplier of the Year for 2016

NRG Energy, Inc., a Fortune 200 company and leading integrated power company in the United States, has named American Integrated Services, Inc. (AIS), as Diversity Supplier of the Year for 2016.

NRG engaged AIS to perform remediation and demolition services at multiple sites this year, including Cabrillo II, demolition and removal of a combustion turbine; El Segundo, retention basin demolition; Encina, tank demolition; and at Coolwater, pipeline evacuation and cleaning. The award reads, “AIS has demonstrated professionalism in providing emergency response support, cost savings, and proactive strategic planning to ensure all work is performed on time and on budget…Their superior level of service has allowed NRG to meet safety, environmental and cost requirements.”
