Key Tasks:
  • Pumping, onsite treatment and disposal of approximately 6.5 million gallons of accumulated rainwater in tanks
  • Solidification, removal, transportation and disposal of approximately 1.94 million gallons of number six fuel oil bottom heels
  • Demolition of six above ground storage tanks: two 140' x 48', two 240' x 32', one 315' x 32', and one 318' x 32'
  • Removal, sizing, transportation and disposal of approximately 8,500 LF of steel pipes (electrical and fuel) ranging in diameter from 1/2" to 24"
  • Decontaminate interior tank surfaces including walls and floor by scraping to minimize volume of waste
  • Removal and recycling or disposal of aluminum cover and fiberglass insulation from tanks and pipes​
  • Removal, transportation and disposal of approximately 8,500 LF of asbestos-containing materials and and 4,500 SF of black tar and mastic
  • Excavation, transportation and disposal of approximately 30,000 tons of hydrocarbon-impacted soil substrate from the tank bottoms
