Open Positions at American Integrated Services

Project Managers – All Regions (Southern CA, Northern CA, and Gulf Coast)
​5 Years minimum experience as Jr. PM or 10 years field experience in various service lines. Responsible for creating new client opportunities and executing significant projects. Demonstrated ability to understand project from inception through completion including estimating, contract negotiations, execution of work, tracking costs, managing budgets, working with client reps for contract compliance including change orders, addendums, and retention releases. Skilled writer with ability to produce submittal-ready client correspondence and materials. Ability to author, edit, and/or assemble significant proposals, change orders, and budgets using MS Word, Excel, and Projects. Mentors project staff and works with a General Superintendent to identify mentoring and advancement opportunities. Overall accountability for assigned projects including safety program implementation, P&L, project execution and success. Accountable to Sr. Management for project success.
Assistant Project Managers – All Regions (Southern CA, Northern CA, and Gulf Coast)
​5 years minimum experience in Project Engineer role or equivalent. Work closely with Project Managers and staff to develop comprehensive take offs for estimates, able to perform independent job walks and put together estimates based on specifications, plans and schedule. Obtains subcontractor quotes, negotiates pricing, and works with Preconstruction group to ensure scope coverage. Skilled writer with ability to produce submittal-ready client correspondence and materials. Ability to author, edit, and/or assemble significant proposals, change orders, and budgets using MS Word, Excel, and Projects. Assists PMs with all tasks, mentors project engineers, schedule projects, track costs and budgets, works with Project Coordinators to ensure project billings are performed. Manages small projects as assigned with oversight from a Sr. PM.
Human Resources Manager – Corporate Office (Southern CA)
​5 years minimum of Human Resource management experience preferred. Experience in environmental services, trucking, or similar industries is desirable. The Human Resource Manager will oversee daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices amongst other duties. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Bilingual skills a plus. Reports to Corporate Director of Human Resources.
SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER – ALL REGIONS (SOUTHERN CA, NORTHERN CA, AND GULF COAST)
10 years minimum experience marketing and selling the full suite of AIS services ranging from Environmental Construction, Industrial Abatement and Demolition, Specialty Transportation and Hazardous Waste Management. Ideal candidates possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and has deep relationships within various sectors including (Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Environmental Consulting and Engineering, Commercial/Industrial Real Estate, and others). Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to assisting in the overall growth of AIS based on establishing and building relationships with potential and existing clients, developing, and implementing capture plans for specific clients and sectors, and participating/leading business development and strategy meetings periodically. Position reports directly to Sr. Management.
ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER – CORPORATE OFFICE (SOUTHERN CA)
Assists in the development and production of proposals, qualification packages, presentations, brochures, and additional marketing materials. Ability to collaborate on social media and website design/updates. Assist in the maintenance of CRM including updating contacts, opportunity tracking, and client database. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Communications, and professional A/E/C industry experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Reports directly to Corporate Marketing Manager.
​HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS – ALL REGIONS (SOUTHERN CA, NORTHERN CA, AND GULF COAST)
​Operates heavy earthmoving and/or demolition equipment as well as the associated attachments with minimal oversight from a Foreman or Superintendent. Is efficient and capable of producing quality work such as finish grading or technical building wrecking and processing. Typically, has more than 7 years of experience operating across various service lines. Ability to maintain and change out attachments for units. HAZWOPER certification required as well as basic construction safety courses outlined in the AIS training matrix.
​CLASS A DRIVERS – ALL REGIONS (SOUTHERN CA, NORTHERN CA, AND GULF COAST)
​4 Years minimum verifiable Class A tractor trailer driving experience. Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to pick up, transport and off-load waste to disposal site in an a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Ensure proper loading, segmenting, and unloading of materials. Perform pre and post trip inspections to identify and rectify any maintenance action that may be required. Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or AIS policy. Reports directly to AIS Transportation and Compliance Manager.
FIELD HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICERS – ALL REGIONS (SOUTHERN CA, NORTHERN CA, AND GULF COAST)
3 Years minimum construction industry safety experience. Visits project sites on a routine basis to carry out safety inspections and ensure AIS policies/procedures are being properly implemented. Assists in the development of health and safety plans, JSAs (job safety analysis), JHAs (job hazard analysis) and management safety equipment inspection and testing. Responds to incidents and manages follow up and reporting, including corrective actions as needed.
ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD TECHNICIANS – ALL REGIONS (SOUTHERN CA, NORTHERN CA, AND GULF COAST)
Provide daily support services for projects. Duties primarily include labor tasks, operating hand tools, and limited operation of small equipment (such as skid steers, water truck, sweeper, forklift, small loaders), work in various departments throughout the company. Entry level position with little or no previous experience. HAZWOPER certification required as well as basic construction safety courses outlined in the AIS training matrix.​
TECHNICAL WASTE COORDINATOR (SOUTHERN CA)
​The Technical Waste Coordinator will provide technical hazardous waste management support to both AIS customers and internal AIS staff, ensuring that all waste is managed in compliance within local, state, and federal guidelines. Duties and responsibilities include review of analytical waste data to determine proper waste classification and disposal/recycle options; overall compliance with waste handling and shipments, including both hazardous and non-hazardous waste; accurate development, submittal, and approval of waste profiles to various TSDF and recycling facilities; negotiation of disposal and/or recycling rates with TSDF and recycling facilities to determine most cost effective and compliant option; assist in development of preliminary pricing and proposals as needed both directly to customers and/or in unison with AIS staff. Thorough knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations required. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry or related field and five years experience in the environmental industry preferred.
