5/13/2019 National Safety Stand-DownLast week, AIS and Maxim Crane personnel participated in a Project and Company-wide safety stand down in support of the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. On this particular demolition project, in addition to scheduled daily tailgate and twilight safety meetings, both crews spent 30 minutes after their normal lunch break to address the concerns and factors that lead to Falls being a Focus-Four killer of construction workers.
The various companies’ project personnel also discussed safety topics including Fall Hazards and Fall Protection, Working-at-Heights, Fire Hazards and Best Work Practices. All personnel in attendance had the opportunity to share their knowledge, and voice their opinions and thoughts with the Project Team regarding each topic as they were discussed. Hello and Howdy!
